With over 25 years of experience on the football field, Coach Bo— as he is affectionately known—has earned a reputation as a seasoned and respected coach worldwide. His coaching journey has taken him across multiple continents, giving him the opportunity to scout, train, and mentor some of the most talented players around the globe.

For the past 15 years, he has dedicated his efforts to coaching teams, establishing football academies, and training local coaches throughout Southern Asia. His coaching has taken him to the Netherlands, the United States, Thailand, the Maldives, and India, where he has left a lasting impact on both players and coaching communities.

Coach Bo’s passion for football began at a young age in his home country, the Netherlands, where he made his debut for his club's senior team at just 14 years old. His playing career later led him to countries such as Germany, France, and the United States, further enriching his understanding of the global game.

He strongly believes in the words of Nelson Mandela: “Sport has the power to change the world.” Beyond developing championship-winning teams and helping players grow on the field, Coach Bo is committed to shaping young men and women into leaders who can positively influence their communities.

Most recently, Coach Bo Renes was honored as the D2 2025 Soccer Coach of the Year by the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association (VISAA).
